AMZAN Bookstore and cafe, is the first of its kind in Sharjah. Located in Al Qasba, this independent book haven & cafe for coffee connoisseurs is a place for everyone. The concept focuses on delivering a comfortable and inviting aura for it visitors.
The space is highlighted by the play in the shelves, where a linear, repetitive pattern strikes out. An airy ambiance is created by integrating openness between the shelves and within them, making way for either passages or built-in seats for the users. The books become the emphasized inhabitant through the use of specific modern subtle materiality.
Light becomes an important player in the space, where diffused light is maximized for a brighter general feel, and an overall selection was used to create a transcendental aura within.
